Inflation slows to 4.1% in October
Annual headline inflation slowed to 4.1% for the year ended October 2016 from 4.2% in September, according to data from the Uganda Bureau of Statistics. Core inflation however rose to 5.1% year-on-year from 4.1% (revised) in September.

Inflation falls to 4.2% in September
Annual headline inflation fell for the third consecutive month, slowing to 4.2% in September 2016 from 4.8% in August, according to data from the Uganda Bureau of Statistics. Core inflation, which is targeted by the Central Bank, also fell to 4.1%.

Inflation falls to lowest level in 16 months
Annual headline inflation fell to its lowest level in 16 months, coming in at 4.8% for August, data from the Uganda Bureau of Statistics showed on Wednesday
