Data from Research ICT Africa shows that 1GB of mobile data in the Q2 of this year was cheaper in only Tanzania, Egypt, and Mozambique. On average, the plan cost $3.62 in Uganda, versus $0.89 in Tanzania, $2.82 in Egypt, and $2.87 in Mozambique.

Vodafone to end unlimited plans on 31 October, introduces new bundles
Vodafone's unlimited plans will no longer be available after 31 October, a company representative told Uganda Business News. The telecom is now offering three new additional monthly plans: 20GB (at Shs220,000), 40GB (Shs330,000), and 80GB (Shs450,000).
