Pursuant to Rule 36(2) and 53 of the USE Listing Rules 2021, Stanbic Uganda Holdings Limited is pleased to inform its shareholders and the public of the appointment of Mr. Yinka Sanni and Mrs. Mona Muguma Ssebuliba to fill causal vacancies as Non-Executive Directors.
Yinka Sanni
Mr Sanni is the Standard Bank Group’s Chief Executive for Africa Regions. Prior to his current position, he was the Regional Chief Executive for the West Region within the Africa Regions, overseeing the Group’s operations in Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, DRC, Angola, and Mauritius. Mr Sanni is a seasoned banking professional with over three decades of experience in financing, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, privatisation advisory, and consumer banking.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the Mr. Yinka Sanni University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria and a Master’s in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University. Yinka is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria and Honorary Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
Mona Muguma Ssebuliba
Mrs. Ssebuliba currently serves as the chief executive officer at aBi Finance Limited as well as board chair of Renewable Energy Business Incubator – REBi, since 2019.
She is also the Founding Board Member and Treasurer of Women’s Leadership Development.
Mrs. Ssebuliba is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Capital Markets, Investment Management, Agribusiness Financing and Asset Management among others.
She holds a master’s in business administration from Edinburgh Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from Makerere University Business School.
