
Stanbic Bank has officially launched the highly anticipated 90-day FlexiPay Cashback Explosion campaign, featuring various rewards and increased customer engagement to encourage the use of digital payments.
FlexiPay is the bank’s innovative digital platform which can be used without having a Stanbic Bank account.
Josephine Nakato, FlexiPay’s Customer Experience Manager, shared her excitement for the campaign. “It is all about giving back to our customers and demonstrating the true value of going digital. Through activation events at various locations nationwide, we’re making banking more accessible, enjoyable, and rewarding for everyone.”
The campaign aims to reward customers for embracing cashless transactions by offering the chance to win prizes through various events and activities.
The launch event took place at Senana Supermarket in downtown Kampala over the weekend, where interactive demonstrations of the FlexiPay app captivated shoppers and passers-by alike.
The campaign offers customers instant 10 per cent cashback when they spend Shs50,000 or more on shopping or bills using FlexiPay. Over the three-month campaign period, the goal is to make everyday transactions more rewarding.
At Senana, Douglas Wakabi and Leticia Kyomuhendo were the first lucky customers to win the ‘One Minute Trolley Dash’. This fun shopping experience involves winners racing against the clock to grab items of their choice.
“I never thought I’d win,” said Ms Kyomuhendo, “but this campaign has put a big smile on my face. Now I have more reasons to use FlexiPay every day!”
Activation points include Petro service stations, restaurants, supermarkets, and boutiques, where customers can enjoy immediate cashback rewards and receive guidance on using the FlexiPay app for various transactions, such as paying utility bills, school fees, and purchasing groceries.
Jackie Abwol, the Brand and Marketing Manager for FlexiPay, said that Stanbic Bank has planned a series of surprises, giveaways and customer engagement activities over the next 90 days to maintain momentum.
